Homeopathy for autism

Post by turmerict »

I would like to hear from any families, who have a child with SEVERE autism, who have had experience treating their child's autism homeopathically. That would be great.

What led you to investigate homeopathic care for your child in the first place? How did you first search, and find a great professional homeopath? What selection criteria do you personally prioritize when choosing a homeopathist for your own child's treatment? What autism improvements has your child experienced so far? What do you most like and dislike about the homeopathic services and care that you have received to date?

Contributions on any of the above areas of questioning would be very much appreciated. I myself work with children, under the age of 10, who have severe autism, and I am interested in your input and in hearing about your direct experiences. Thank you so much!

Have you read Amy Lansky’s book “The Impossible Cure.” It is her story of
discovering and using homeopathy for her son’s autism. She ultimately studied
homeopathy and now practices, I believe.

May I forward this to a few other (much smaller) lists, with a note that people should reply directly to you?

This list is aimed more at practitioners than at patients or parents or "lay" people, tho there are some here from all types of involvement.

You might also find respondents by asking homeopaths who have treated such children, to ask the parents if they are interested in corresponding with you about their experience. I realize wouldn't be an unbiased sample, so maybe not so useful. But it would probably give you access to more of the people you are looking for.

no she doesn't practice. She did for a short time and then decided not to, I guess. Her son was not as severe as children are these days. But it is a good book to introduce it to you. I have some cure cases from a couple of homeopaths I know that use remedies in water as Hahnemann taught in 5th and 6th edition of organon. But they are few and far between (those homeopaths)

Fran Sheffield has many cases. And she has several articles that can
be accessed online.

Sheri, In the past year, CEASE Therapy has become increasingly popular in autism. Developed by Tinus Smits before he died, I am hearing quite wonderful results in the autism circles.

I need to hear more. But it really should not be called homeopathy as it isn't following the laws and principles.

Forwarded from another list--

Any parents here of severely autistic children under homeopathic care?
If you're interested in sharing your experiences with this person, please email them directly (since they are not a member of this list).

Forgive me for seeming reluctant to spread this request far and wide until I know a little more about who this person is. What is the purpose of their request if I may ask?

There are some out there who ask only to cause mischief - I know this from personal experience - and we are making a potential connection between families and an unknown person.

Please could we have a little more information about who you are and why you want the information?

Many thanks,

Carol B
