Classical homeopath for pets in Houston, Tx

Post by CLBernat »

I have a friend in Houston with a puppy who needs the services of a good classical homeopath. Either a DVM homeopath or a classical homeopath who works with a DVM. This puppy has some complex autoimmune issues that requires a hands-on evaluation. Any referrals would be appreciated.

Thank you

there are people who will work long distance on homeopathic case taking.
it works a lot better than you would suspect. this opens the possibility for
more practitioner choices.

With respect, Carol, I'd like to offer that I have not often found it necessary to have the homeopath do a hands-on evaluation, although of course it's always nice if they can meet the patient. A good and sympathetic vet can do diagnostics, can work with the homeopath to provide needed information, and is a valuable resource for other emergency and practical matters. On the other hand, I have found that there is little value to having a less-than-thoroughly astute homeopath close at hand, when the best can be engaged long distance.

Of course, with your being homeopathically astute yourself, you may be in the position of being well able to evaluate any practitioner who may come to notice. I know of no one in the Houston area. However, the AVH lists the following:

Will Falconer , DVM CERTIFIED BY THE AVH

This means a regular vet who has done four weekends of seminars about homeopathy, given by someone who also has no *degree* in homeopathy.
I'd look for the DEGREE of D.Vet.Hom as a minimum qualification in any veterinary homeopath - just as you'd look for a DEGREE of DVM in a veterinarian, and not some 4 weekend seminar "certificate".

Namaste,
Irene

Got in touch with Glen Dupree in Louisiana. She will be contacting him. I know long distance works well but this particular instance requires a hand-on approach. Thanks to everyone for the assistance.
