Why has it been suggested that Murphey's books are questionable? The format in
his books is so easy to follow. If it is a question of remedies listed being
unreliable...isn't that corrected when you go to the older MMs to see what
they say.... as you would using the Boeinghausen rep. or even Kent?

Re: Question about Murphey's rep and mm
When I studied years ago we used Murphy’s. The criticism was that he
used diagnoses in his books. But I liked using his books. I also had
Kent and later a few others. My take was that every book had unique
remedies for any given rubric. I have yet to see any 2 that were exactly
the same on every rubric or set of remedies for each rubric. All we have
to do is see the different responses on this list when people ask for rubric help.
And if you see a remedy for a rubric, most of us would go back to read up on
the remedy to see if it really fit the case. I have taken some of Murphy’s
workshops and really like him a lot.
