Dear Les Rose

I am sorry for the delay in responding to you - holidays.

I am VERY disappointed in your reply of 26 Aug.

I challenged you to give me just one example of a cured case by CONventional MEDicine (CONMED) and
what do you give me?
Your own treatment by a physiotherapist!
Whilst I have the highest regards for physiotherapists, their treatment is mechanical as is
osteopathy and or setting of bones in a plaster. Your example of "cardiac catherisation" does not
count either as it is again a 'surgical' process. You must compare like for like. You guys have been
saying how marvellous convention pharmacy is; give me an example of CURE of a chronic case.

You have also fallen head first into a trap of your own making.
Every time a homeopath or a patient reports that a patient who has suffered at the hands of CONMED
for many years has been cured by a homeopath, you lot immediately say it is anecdotal. Yet you site
your own treatment. Was it peer reviewed? Are there any medical records to show before and after
states? There aren't any? Oh what a shame. Your one report of a cure even at the hands of a
physiotherapist does not count then as it is ANECDOTAL.

Let us now get realistic.
Let us organise some funding for a good research programme in conjunction with homeopaths and the
supporters of convention pharmacy and see whether there is a real effect or not.

If you visit the Fram Museum in Norway http://oslo-norway.ca/attractions/frammuseum.html you will
note that this vessel undertook the journey through the North-West Passage which took three years to
complete in Arctic conditions. What do you find in the medical officer's cabin? A range of
homeopathic remedies. Do you think that these people who beat the British to the South Pole were
fools to use homeopathic remedies in case they became ill on such journeys? No - they clearly knew
that they worked and knew how to use them properly.

You guys have still not explained the great variation during the cholera epidemic of London in 1854
between homeopathic and conventional practitioners. If homeopathy was placebo as you guys proclaim
at every opportunity, then one would expect no difference.

Details are as follows:
"In 1854 a Cholera Epidemic struck London. This was a historically important epidemic in that it was
the first time the medical community was able to trace the outbreak to a source (a public water
pump), and when the pump was closed, the epidemic soon ceased.
The House of Commons asked for a report about the various methods of treating the epidemic. When the
report was issued, the homeopathic figures were not included. The House of Lords asked for an
explanation, and it was admitted that if the homeopathic figures were to be included in the report,
it would "skew the results." The suppressed report revealed that under allopathic care the mortality
was 59.2% while under homeopathic care the mortality was only 9%."
There are many other cases, please see http://www.whale.to/v/winston.html

Let us co-operate in finding the truth.
