Dr. Shadhrar's seminar in Malaysia- advice needed

Post by Ellen Madono »

Hi,

I will be attending a seminar given by Aradavan Shahdrar concerning
infectious disease as the cause (miasm) of chronic disease. It is
given on March 24-27 in Kuala Lumpur. Suria has been notifying
everyone on Minutus. I am very excited by this opportunity.

I have never been to a seminar in Malaysia. Does anyone have experience?

I am wondering, can I expect electrical outlets in the seminar room?
Internet access? It appears to be on a university campus, but still I
don't want to be taking anything for granted.

Also, after freezing my toes off with Tokyo's rolling blackouts and
mostly unheated houses, it am expecting the tropical heat to be a
great shock. How does a Northie stay healthy and mentally present
with so much change? I am told that going between an air-conditioned
room and the tropical heat is very draining.

Blessings,
Ellen Madono

Hello Ellen,
with reference to your previous email I would agree that a lot of people have a vested interested in creating panic. The sight of UK journalists trying to elicit panicked and angry responses from their interviewees is not edifying. The dignity of the Japanese people puts them to shame. Governments respond to the media.

Re Malaysia. I have not been there in recent years but it is very hot and sticky - if you go out in the evening you will be eaten alive. I imagine that is still the case: be prepared to cover up and repel mosquitoes! I am sure the lecture theatres will be as high tech as anywhere but don't know.

I invested in a little notebook that has been very useful. Battery lasts 13 hours and would probably see me through 2 days even if I couldn't recharge. There is basic RTF word processing on it but as yet no hom program but it is perfectly adequate and light to carry around. (I would like to know of a small size repertory program I could download, incidentally.)

I hope you enjoy the seminar.

Theresa

Thanks Theresa. I can not imagine 13 hours on my laptop. I better think about this. Thanks.
