Painful small stye in the upper right inner canthi of right eye. Not much in the reps that I like. Any clinical practice suggestions other than bathing with Euphrasia?
Thanks

a rx that seemed to fit. think i resorted to my low level laser and patience.

Have now burst it after bathing with hot water laced with Echinacea, Hypericum, Calendula and Euphrasia tinctures and it feels sooooo much better!! Have just had an Echinacea tea and am thinking of lying down with the teabag on it until I get bored!!!
Did loads of EFT with a new young mum this morning (thoughts of death after a caesarean she didn't want - doctor gave her Prozac which she refuses to take!!) . It was a pretty straight Staph case. Baby was gorgeous and as good as gold. Scar split and she had 3 weeks of pus coming out!!! What do they do in these hospitals!!! The stye emerged after all that EFT!!!!!

FWIW, my then teenage daughter used to get them occasionally and I would have her hold a clean cotton ball dipped in diluted Ferr phos 6x on the stye off and on for a few times. They always disappeared. Not sure why I chose Ferr phos as I know/knew little of formal homeopathy. Teresa (Northern VA)

Red, inflamed, with burning sensation.

Feeling as of sand under lids.

Hyperaemia of optic disc and retina, with blurred vision.

My mother's approach (which worked great on my dad) was short-term high doses of fish oil Vitamin A; on the order of 50,000 IU once or twice, for either a few days or until it was gone.

I can't be doing with "a few days". It has to be gone "yesterday" :)

#1 remedy is Puls, for follow-up you need to look at Staph.
Best,

Thanks Lisa!!
Puls even if I am not at all weepy ;) Seriously a homeopath prescribed Puls for me once because of an unusual sleep pattern. I felt awful on it!! But yes I have heard of Staph for eye problems - in fact I remember prescribing it for a woman many years ago but the mentals fit.
