There's a more fundamental point to all this discussion than whether the dosage or the particular preparation accords with homoeopathic tradition, and that is whether the treatment could possibly have been prescribed on the basis that it was homoeopathic to the patient. Moderate doses of Belladonna, enough to induce acute toxicity, may still hold that homoeopathic relationship. And an infusion of Belladonna -- or of anything else -- may have a homoeopathic relationship to a particular patient. What kills off (twice over) the possibility of the prescription's homoeopathicity is not the size of the dose but, as Shannon, Paul, and Gary have highlighted, two other things: its prescription with other medicines, and its prescription without a basis in similarity between the desired (or known) effects and the state of the patient. Either of those things is sufficient to tell us that the prescription's basis was not homoeopathic.
