online case RM/Feb.01-Update
online case RM/Feb.01-Update
I did give Nat Mur 1M- one dose on 4th March. The patient phoned today to
say she has had the results of blood tests and her ESR level is 62 which
means she has some autoimmune problem. Also the liver tests showed a very
mild problem and these tests are being repeated. Since the Nat. Mur. she
has been sneezing a little every day -an agg IMO but that is it. The
shoulder stuff is still the same. She is still talking about G. Barr disease
but unless you can get a very mild version (can you??)I have told her to
forget it!! She also came up with fibromyalgia . Why she wants a label I
really don't know. She says her energy isn't what is should be but she has
worked on her allotment today!! The last consultation showed up a
periodicity of about 1 month for these colds she keeps getting. Her ears are
going to be checked out by a specialist as there is still a mild annoyance
factor to this. I have told her that Nat Mur can take a while to act and I
will see her on my return home from Israel in 3 weeks or so.

Re: online case RM/Feb.01-Update
Dear Rochelle, thanks for your follow-up.
As far as the GB Syndrome goes, you can get varying degrees of the
condition, like anything else. I have had cases where the moments of
paralysis are very short lived and most of the time there is an awful aching
in the upper limbs mainly. Do you know if she has had a 'flu jab at all -
although she doesn't sound like the sort of person who would have. Only
asking because of the connection between them and GB syndrome.
Going back over your earlier notes vis a vis your new notes I am wondering
about Ignatia as well (it has an obvious relationship with Nat mur of
course).
So yes, give her plenty of time on the Nat Mur. The little group of remedies
which interest me (apart from the Nat Mur) are Ign; Cimi; Staph. (which,
btw, has perspiration smell of bad eggs!).
Thanks again, Joy

No way she would have had an injection. I will report back on the cases when
I see her next.

try
Perspiration, odor, sour (73 remedies in Synthesis 8)
& other
Perspiration, odor,
sub-rubrics
perhaps
Perspiration, odor, sweetish sour (bry. puls.)
comes closest, but I'd still consider the larger rubric.
(nothing with rotten/sour milk specifically)

Re: online case RM/Feb.01-Update
Dear Tanya,
I am thinking of Perspiration, odour, cheesy = hep; plb; sulph; (kent) -
probably more in other reps. And I am wondering if any of the milk rx has
this. Rancid = thuja, Rank smell = Lac. Caninum, Cow's milk are very sweaty
but not sure about the smell (does anyone else know?) + connected with
rheumatism ( have you actually got a case in mind with this? Different milks
actually smell differently when they 'go off'. Sterilised milk e.g. goes
black and the smell is unbelievable. And don't forget Sac Lac - has
offensive body odour. Now here is a real opportunity for someone to collate
info on remedies and body smells. anyone interested?
Best wishes, Joy

Re: online case RM/Feb.01-Update
The patient has been on the phone again to tell me that she has seen a
doctor today about her ears who says that they are not perforated but that
the Eustachian tube is clogged up and advised the use of Olbas oil 3x a day
to unclog it!!!! I have said that this will antidote the Nat Mur.
Now normally I would give Kali Mur for this but I want to give the Nat Mur a
chance to work. She is still sneezing with no sign of a proper cold and I
said this was toxins coming out. Does anyone think that Mullein (Verbascum)
Oil would do the same as the Olbas oil as I do have some and could leave it
on the doorstep for her to collect as I am going abroad tomorrow?

Joy
dont acutally have a case, but in speaking with another woman, it became apparent that this is not that uncommon in women. perspiration under the breast, a little viscid, caustic (burns the skin) and smelling like rotten milk.
i thought it would interesting to put on the list as a potential interesting condition.
