Homeopathy in India --information needed

Post by Tanya Marquette »

With the widespread use of homeopathy in India and its efficacy proven in
epidemics and chronic diseases, has there been any compilation of these
experiences written in English? With the assault on homeopathy in the UK,
this information would be important to have easily available.
I know David Little mentions treating malaria and Down's Syndrome in an
interview.
We need to have this information worldwide with the advent of Codex marching
down on us.

There are many Indian journals where these are published.. sometimes the problem is as one homeopath who successfully treated the wife of an allopath for some leucorrhea or something explained it to an astonished allopath - "I thought the problem was in her prostate and treated it and the problem was solved"

There are more successful homeopaths who are not in the limelight and whose knowledge of materia medica ( in depth) is second to none but who cannot talk or write fluently in English

That is pretty funny.
But we do need to have real information.
For example, a malaria epidemic where there are statistics that can be translated
into English. The treatment of epidemics is a big bat that homeopathy is getting
hit with regularly. The polio vaccine 'success' myth is also a biggy.

I look at the original post from Nunu.

I think Pakistan's homeopathic system has been hijacked by the likes of Dr MAS who runs a homeo pharma selling patent preparations. I think the classical tradition is under a lot of pressure there.

In India, in the last fifteen years, a number of Homeopathic colleges were opened offering full five year courses. The curriculum is focused on the simplex similia minima. I have seen the first year students carrying Allen's keynotes. They are required to get it by heart.

In Coimbatore where I live, I sent one of my friends to our local Homeo college (there are two here). He reported that he received excellent care , cunselling and tteatment. The fee ? Money equivalent to about two dollars per visit including the remedy. He said the students were extremely smart.

Something to cheer.

So are you saying that Homeopathy is not becoming scrutinized and with the beginning of attacks against it?
And is there no statistical information on its use in epidemics? comparisons between allopathy and homeopathy
in treating patients? cost efficiency studies correlated with successful outcomes? etc?

Though belatedreply but it is very correct that Homoeopathy has been hijacked in Pakistan. I would not blame Dr. Mas,every homoeopathic pharmacy in Pakistan is contributing sincerely in this dilemma, truly said...you name the combination, we have it.

You can have the brouchers of any well known or little known pharmacy and discover that wide range of combinations which are termed as the new research in Homoeopathy. I wonder if WillmarSchwabe is marketing these combinations in Germany also. Perhaps they take good care of their pharmacopea??? Any one from Germany or England may enlighten!!!
