Subject: BEWARE - another scam
Dear all
Apparently a group calling themselves TEMDI- The European Medical Directory and previously operating as IMI- International Medical Information - are contacting homeopaths offering free advertising for a year, and when they send you the paper work they make some small error on your address. When you correct it, you have inadvertently signed a contract to pay them 1000 euros.
The organisation is under criminal investigation in Switzerland.
Remember if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Re: BEWARE - another scam
These people hounded us for payment a couple of years ago ( are they based in Spain?). The Clinic did not advertise as a business, so we knew no-one had commissioned the ad. The threats got quite nasty and went on for well over a year and I am sure a bigger business might have just paid up for a quiet life or thinking the mistake might actually have been their own. The ironical thing is they sent us another form to fill in last year – but we haven’t had the payment demands again (not yet).
