Crat
Re: Crat
I use the homeopathic mother tincture a great deal (also available from herbal suppliers as Hawthorne). Have had better results (with same individuals) when they used homeopathic mother tincture as opposed to herbal source tinctures. Excellent results as a cardiac ‘tonic’, but as stated in Boericke – it does take a little time to have good effect.

Would those of you who have tried Crartegus oxy let us all know
what you thought of the medication - for heart and artery?

Re: Crat
I have only used it in Mother Tincture - 6 -20 drops 3x a day. Works to decoke the blood vessels from plaque. Brought down the Cholesterol in a patient in 2 months. It is meant to take 6 months to reach full efficacy.

Re: Crat
I had cardiac infarction twice in 2000/2001. First attempt of angioplasty was aborted because of cardiac arrest but a second attempt at a different hospital resulted in opening of 3 heavily blocked arteries. About 3 months after angioplasty, I got a mibi scan for assessment of my cardiac situation. There was reperfusion in much of the damaged area.
Allos had prescribed statins, beta blockers, BP medication, daily Aspirin and some more medicines. My thigh muscles developed myopathy which I attributed to statins and I quit all medicines except enteric coated 75 mg Aspirin. Anti arrhythmia medicine (my guess only on basis of information gathered on net and reading the accompanying literature) caused a condition known as NAION in which optic disc became pale and I lost much of sight in one eye. Anyone having suggestion for atrophy of Optic nerve??.
In the mean time I started CRAT MT 6 DROPS daily and pretty soon was maintaining 16 DROP DOSE daily. I continued it for about 7 months.
7 years after angioplasty, I had another Thallium Scan. The result showed that the mibi images in 2008 were essentially the same as in 2001. This was good news because heart/arteries did not deteriorate during this time. Although I do not use any BP medication, my readings remain at 120/75 or lower.
I attribute my present condition to CRAT MT which I use sparingly now. My thigh muscles are still very weak. May be it was due to statins or may be due to toxicity of Thallium of which I had 5 scans. I remember reading somewhere that every case of myopathy will require Thallium in the course of treatment before a cure can be achieved
I am 69 years of age if it can be of any help. Regards. Ajmal Khan.

Re: Crat
Also known as Hawthorne berry, and readily available in tincture from health food stores (and on-line). If you can't find it, I can find you a link.

Re: Crat
I actually use the herbal tincture which I buy from a herbal wholesaler but you can buy a Mother Tincture from any homeopathic pharmacy.
