Sensitivities or canary in the mine?/not entirelyrelevant

Post by Theresa Partington »

I met a delightful new patient recently (home visit). She started by apologising profusely for the dust on her tarmac drive and then, later reminisced about a visit to the dentist when she was young. She is 80 now. She said she could quite understand why youngsters take drugs because after that visit (at which she had been given cocaine) she had felt so light and happy that she could have washed the windows of every house in the street on the way home!
I scratched my head for a remedy.

Wow. Her idea of fun is to *wash windows*, and she's apologizing for a dusty *driveway*???
What went against Ars? Ooooh, I wish *I* liked to have fun that way! :-D
