fatty tumor

Post by Robin Coventry »

Has anyone given a remedy to a dog with a fatty tumor and had it go away?

My bichon has a large one on her side. A vet told me that the best way to
remove would be surgery. NOT. So it grows. Could use some advice.

Yes. On the advice of our homeopathic vet we gave four drops of Arsenicum 30c in water, succussed, about 10 times over several months. The chief complaint was not the fatty tumors (lipoma?), it was a strange sort of incontinence. However, the fatty tumors, two small ones on her forepaw, slowly shrank and are now almost even with the skin, though the pink spots are still there. The incontinence is much relieved though not gone (and we had to stop almost all grains). I expect he may have us move up to 200c, but we are still at 30c now. This was a constitutional prescription—but I believe (he tried to explain) based also on the breed of dog.
A couple of good people on this list had also suggested Ars. earlier on for this beloved dog, but I couldn’t see it and didn’t give it till we had to go to the vet. Teresa (Northern VA)

dogs should never be given grains. it is not natural to their makeup.
i know some people will give a bit of organic brown rice, but i would stay away from it all.
