Greetings,

I am assuming you are discussing verbal issue - not tongue torsion.

Being tongue-tied is a cognitive or emotional sx - on the correct rx the
prognosis is favorable.

A casual (unchecked) search for "tongue-tied" in EH yields a large number
of remedies. The snake remedies are well represented, as are the
melanthiaceae plants, and ranunculaceae, solanaceae, and many other
remedies.

The specifics behind the problem are key to finding the correct rubric,
which (for example) may include one of the below (not exhaustive):
--Thoughts vanishing speaking while
--Anxiety speaking, when - company, in
--Timidity, public, about appearing in - talk in public ,to (including
inept to)
--Thoughts, collect, cannot
--Dullness, sluggishness, difficulty of thinking and comprehending, ideas
cannot collect
--Memory weakness, expressing oneself for
--Memory weakness of memory, words, for
--Expressing oneself, cannot
--Fear talking- say something wrong; lest he should
--Insecurity, mental
--Timidity, talking, when, about her sexual desire
--etc

In case this is helpful, the following will also be mentioned (at risk of
insulting your intelligence, which is not the intention):
As always, the specific case bears probing to obtain what underlies an
expressed symptom. Otherwise rubric selection will be inaccurate. Many
"classical" authors advise waiting religiously until the end of the
client's testimony about their WHOLE case to inquire about these
specifics. Another way is to inquire right after they are finished
speaking about the specific item (or as one is prompted by what they wrote
in intake questionnaire, broached by practitioner d. the interview if they
do not mention it verbally). IMO probing is underrated - the concern
about leading questions is overrated. In Sankaran's sensation method (one
of the several methods available to the modern classical/postclassical
homeopath) this is particularly notable.

Questions can usually be couched without tainting the data - if made
briefly and allowing the client to fill in the blanks - often starting
with simply: "please tell me more about your being tongue-tied"? And
further: when did you first notice becoming tongue-tied? and "what do you
feel when you become tongue-tied"? and "What do you think is at the root
of your being tongue-tied"? etc.
Namaste
A. H.
