Worth a read, and if you feel so inclined, please pass this on, and add your comment on the Independent website.

Having read all the comments on the Independent website it seems as if far more people have bothered to write in FOR homeopathy than against. Should we really get upset about this silly stunt?
My first reaction when I heard about it was Great, now they'll show a) how ignorant they are about homeopathy, and b) how safe homeopathic remedies are, (one of our biggest selling points, no?)
As with all the adverse propaganda we have been subjected to since 2006, its a measure of how THREATENED the old dinosaurs and their vested interests feel by homeopathy. Although it would be nice to feel appreciated and valued by everyone, we must take the strength of the movement against homeopathy to be the dying gasp of a medical system which suffers not only from a loss of credibility but also of content. Although we may not feel we want to be cast as psychic warriors in the battle for global health, that's what we signed up for when we became homeopaths. Although we may not want to accept there is even a war , the fact is - there is, and I for one feel like we're winning. My patients don't give a fig for double blind random placebo controlled trials. They just want something that works, and as we all know, homeopathy does. Rejoice in your knowledge, skill and ability to heal.

Subject: Fw: Who would dare on overdose of orthodox drugs?/Maintain homeopathic choice
hi Selhog and Swelhoms
I wondered if there are any homeopaths who have time today to contact the Independent newspaper? The good news is that for once they have dedicated a whole page to homeopathy and yes, you've guessed, the bad news is its all against!
i've copied it to arh which is my registering body. Maybe members of other registering organisations could do the same?
If it is of any help I am forwarding the letter i've emailed rapidly this morning. Even 1 line asking Boots to maintain choice seems to me helpful but I am sure there are other and better stances to be taken.
I tried to remain positive and light.
Thanks for all your continuing help.
