Supression

Post by Jeff Tikari »

We keep discussing 'suppression' in homeopathy.
My reading of Homeopathy is that the very 'diluted & like' remedies we
administer is aimed at the Immune System/ VF. The VF addresses
the weak dilution and produces antigens to overcome the ailment that
the remedy's signature is putting forward. The VF easily overcomes the
ailment of the remedy and since it is now alert to this infection, it produces
large numbers of similar antigen to fight the gross invasion that is attacking
the system. That is how 'like fights like'.
If we administer a remedy that is unlike the gross invading ailment, the VF
merely overcomes the weak remedy and withdraws, leaving the gross
invasion to continue, multiply, and get stronger - for the VF has not yet understood
the infection and is unable to manufacture suitable antigens powerful enough to
prevail upon the now full-blown and powerful disease.
A 'like' homeopathic remedy at this stage, being diluted and weak, is quickly overcome
by the VF and gives the VF a sample of the antigens it should produce to counter the
invading powerful disease. With this template in its armoury, antigens are produced rapidly
and in greater and greater amounts until the disease is annulled.
A partially 'like' remedy lets the VF overcome the disease, but not completely. The disease
is suppressed and will rear its ugly head again in a mutated form to confuse the VF.
The Homeopathic doctor needs to recognize this and, instead of dispensing the same
remedy, study the new symptoms and medicate appropriately.
A suppressed disease does not mean it will necessarily go deeper. It will shift, however,
and appear elsewhere. If it can not reappear, for the Immune System is vigilant to its
mutations and mutates itself to counter it, the disease will remain suppressed for very
long periods or could remain suppressed for life.
