tension in eyes/vibration in skull

Post by Carol Orr »

I had this symptom about twenty years ago and it has returned. My eyes feel
tired and it feels like there is tension behind them and in my eyebrows or at
least all along that horozontal part of the head, and if i move the eyes
upward or to either side..i feel a vibration and maybe a sound of roaring,
though, i'm not sure if it would be called roaring...but it is a sound and a
vibration.

I think this came from the general tension of my son being sick and a lot of
reading quickly, overuse of the eyes...studying things on the internet. I had
the tension feeling in my eyes about a year ago after reading a book in the
early hours of the morning and reading as fast as i could so i could finish
the book. It feels better if i put my palms over my eyes and my hands are
warmer than normal..which is a good thing in this case. I suppose I should
stay away from reading anything for a few days. i've tried reading homeopathy
books to find these symptoms...but it just makes my eyes worse. I couldn't
find what i was looking for and then i just got frustrated and more tense.

Could someone else do the work for me? I feel like what i need is to close
them for three days.

Ruta is one of the first rx that come to mind for eye tension, from eye strain (if it fits the case). Bellis-p is another - both develop from strain of some kind as well as emotional involvement with that strain. With the pressure). Just a few to think about. Am sure others will come up with more ideas.

Hope you can read replies ok :-)
