Influenzinum*
Between the years 1918 and 1957 the preparation of Influenzinum was
derived from samples of blood or nasal secretions taken from patients
who contracted the flu during the deadly 1918 flu pandemic.
Subsequent to 1957 Influenzinum preparations come from a homeopathic
preparation of the yearly flu viruses chosen for the flu vaccine.**
The original Influenzinum made from discharges and containing the virus
of the 1918 flu pandemic.
That would be the H1N1 virus. It covers the worst possibilities and the
most variations.
Read the symptoms and signs (*S&S*) of the 1918 flu; compare with those of
other years; you will see that the S&S of later flues can be found in the
1918 one; *the strain does not matter, what is important is the S&S it
causes
the physiology to create.........we are talking homeopathy, not
immunology. *
Re remedies made from vaccines:
Many times the CDC "cru du jour" was demonstrated to be wrong, but the
vaccine was still recommended under the thought that it was stimulating
the immune system in a non specific way" (or in other words, just buy
the damn thing if not we are losing money!)
The remedies made from the human vaccine is useless for prophylaxis,
only useful for side effects of said vaccine
Similar, not identical, and in prophylaxis the wider the better, not
like in therapy where the more specific the better.
There are a number of Influenzinum preparations.
As with traditional medicine, the preparations are from prior flu seasons.
Some of the Influenzinums marketed by Nelson's of London are as follows:
1. *Influenzinum (the 1918 epidemic) *
1. 2. Influenza virus A Asia /57
1. 3. Influenza virus A England 42/72
1. 4. Influenza virus B Hong Kong 5/72
1. 5. Influenza virus A/Port Chalmers 1/73
1. 6. Influenza virus A (Asian) 1954
1. 7. Influenza virus B (Asian) 1954
1. 8. Bacillus influenza 1918
1. 9. Influenza virus Az Hong Kong 1968
1. 10. Influenza virus Ar 1967
1. 11. Influenza virus B
1. 12. Influenza Co. (Combination of Az to 1918)
1. 13. Influenza virus a1.
Ainsworth, said "Our 'Influenzinum' is a nosode but it is old. pre 1985.
All the others are made from vaccines except 1989 and triple nosode.
As the flu strains vary from year to year we make up fresh potencies
from the years 'most lightly flu's' vaccine each year in October".

Re: Influenzinum carried by the different Homeopathic Pharmacies:
someone asked why such concern about the source of the influenzinum preparations. i think it's because if you are preparing influenzinum from the current or last year's flu vaccine, then there's really no proving done. you'd be using it as an unproved nosode but not even the nosode of the actual disease product - it would be a nosode of the vaccine. unlike many others, i accept the frequent effectiveness of isopathy, so for me i would find this type of preparation possibly useful in treating negative effects from having received the vaccine, but i would not find it useful in treating or preventing the flu, since i dont know the symptoms associated with the homeopathically prepared vaccine. either i'm not thinking this out properly or perhaps i'm not being clear?
