Swine flu and older people

Post by HomeoDidact »

Hi,
Is there any known reason why "older" people (over 60) are not in the "risk group" of contracting the Swine flu?
(This is in great contrast to the ordinary winter flu - then they are in the "risk group" of contracting the flu !!)
Is it because they were exposed to the ASIAN Flu (1957)?
TIA
Rafy

OH they are!
I am a FIRST RESPONDER with my local NHS ambulance service and they have identified the people at risk as follows:
Those most at risk from the complications of swine flu are:

• people with chronic lung disease, including people who have had drug treatment for their asthma within the past three years

• people with chronic heart disease

• people with chronic kidney disease

• people with chronic liver disease

• people with chronic neurological disease (neurological disorders include motor neurone disease, Parkinson's disease and

multiple sclerosis)

• people with suppressed immune systems (whether caused by disease or treatment)

• people with diabetes

• pregnant women

• people aged 65 years and older

• young children under five years old

Hi Soroush,

One thing I have been missing is a detailed description of what *happens* with this flu--what is the symptom picture, and when it kills someone, what are the symptoms that kill them (as well as distinguishing features of it)? Do you know that, or have information you can share from what you've been seeing?

Thanks,
Shannon

why don't you all realize this is all a huge huge scam..........................

scam to sell old stocks of tamiflu, scam to sell vaccine, scam to keep you in fear, scam to injure more so can sell more drugs to treat the injuries in the future.

We all have seen these symptoms before - symptoms now called swine flu.

People are being diagnosed with that only thru self-reporting. Not tested. And even if they are tested and positive...........what does that really mean?

I agree with our view Sheri. I think the whole thing is a scam, but it does not mean that people will not die of it.
So I was putting up people who are thought to be at risk.

I know you were answering a question but it still buys into their diagnosis of swine flu

I don't believe people are dying from 'it' (so-called swine flu)

People die all the time from all sorts of disturbances.

The key is to find the right remedy to match the symptom, picture as you know.

We need to be not buying into the term swine flu and promoting that as if it exists, in my opinion.

We treat a symptom picture and assist in cure.

Anyone can develop anything depending on their susceptibility................but it doesn't help to buy into 'their' name for it which is invented to sell old stocks of tamiflu, scam to sell vaccine, scam to keep you in fear, & to injure more so can sell more drugs to treat the injuries in the future.
