Dear Soroush,
I have done a word search on "combination" and "combo" in the message you've referred to, which is shorter than your own, and I find no reference to either term.
Similarly, I find no references, in that message, to Hahnemann's detailed instruction on the preparation of remedies, except to his proscription on mixtures in the aphorism (§ 273) to which we've both referred since before you entered into this conversation with your talk of "single remedies".
Perhaps you're referring to some other message of mine?
Kind regards,
John

Dear John
You wrote
. Hahnemann's plain meaning in stating that it is "not permissible to administer to a patient more than one single, simple medicinal substance at one time" in referring not to some essence but to substance remains unchallenged.
. The truth that Hahnemann's definition of the homoeopathy excludes the use of more than one such single, simple medicinal substance at one time remains unchallenged.
. Hahnemann's contention (§§ 273, 274) that it is unnecessary to use more than one single, simple medicinal substance at one time remains unchallenged.
. Even the correctness of Hahnemann's express (§§ 274) view that the effects of using more than one single, simple medicinal substance at one time are unforeseeable and uninterpretable remains unchallenged.
You know very well that my position is nothing other than what Hn is stating for I have stated it many time. So what were you thought processes in writing as you have other than I oppose what Hn has written?

Dear Soroush,
I still have no idea why you asked me these strange questions, and I don't know what your reply here is supposed to be relating to. I understand by it, though, that you agree, that Hahnemann's position regarding the use of more than one medicinal substance in preparing a remedy remains unchallenged -- and that you have no wish to challenge it, even by the authority of Sheilagh or by your knowledge of the modern flurry to "prove" any mixtures that come to hand?
Many thanks --
John

Dear John
My take of your post was that by siting aphorisms regarding the use of one remedy at a time, you were implying that that I did not agree with that point.
Far from it. Combo remedies - where potentised substances are mixed - are not acceptable to me.
Else what was the point of siting them?
That point was NEVER under discussion.

Re: Combinations and exact remedy preparations
Dear Soroush,
You're completely right: the use of one or more remedies at a time was never under discussion. The quotes I cited were about use of one or more medicinal substances, a term with meaning. The distinction of combination remedies from other mixtures is a relatively trivial one in that light.
Kind regards,
John
