Could be that, seeing what actually has been destroyed in the hearing
apparatus as a result of over-exposure to noise, this would be a case
where the vital force needs the help of (stem) cell transplant. It is
said one gets only one set of hearing hair cells - broken ones per
definition are not regenerated (not even with basic trauma remedies like
Arnica or Hypericum). So, are such hair cells excluded from the overall
renewal of body cells every xx (7?) years? Or maybe they do grow again,
but won't work as they are supposed to do?

I feel there is something basic about this. Sure, as things are now, you
don't grow a new limb once it is amputated. However, I read that with
the proper stimulus, one could 'grow' new teeth after extraction etc. It
seems that with the proper stimulus, 'sleeping' cells in the jaw can be
awakened to (again) start forming teeth. If that would be true, growing
something new that actually works might need the right stimulus (but
maybe a bit more than just that). So, maybe, new hearing cells that do
not work as they should may need such a proper stimulus (and maybe
something more). Or maybe they do actually work, but the brain isn't
able to interprete their 'new' signals, so maybe this is the 'something
more'.

Well, just some past-midnight (in these parts of the world) thoughts
that may lead to some other thoughts. Not quite homeopathy, but broader,
maybe including homeopathy.
