Hi John,

I just happened to read the sentence I am commenting below - other
than that I am no longer following the discussion.
Chemistry and physics are very tightly interwoven. There even is a
specific part of chemistry called "Physical Chemistry." Many reactions
in chemistry do not happen unless physics (or technology based on
physics) creates a specific environment. When a chemical reaction
produces heat, that than is the topic of physics (calorics). For
electrolysis you prepare a chemical solution then the ions and anions
travel to electric outlets - this migration is based on physical
principles and the electric outlets are part of physics. Nucleear
physics again is in a way more related to chemistry than to "macro"
physics. Chemistry works by the properties of the electron shells of
an atom, nuclear physics with the nucleus of one.
