If one can do exercise it quickly depletes the glucose in the muscle
cell and it is FORCED to ask for more from the blood, temporarily
overcoming te glucose block- so it can continue to exercise
so it will open up to some glucose during exercise.
The more muscles cells are built up the better, as unlike fat, they
burn more energy.
So a muscled person keeps slim more easily than a fat person who
makes extra cortisol to make extra fat all the time - just by having
fat to do that!
It isn't that a toxin is made from gloucose - too much gloucose is
itself toxic.
SO the cells close the doors to disallow more than they need.
In type 2 the insulin is forever behind the times, and trying to jam
glucose into cells, The cells simply close the door, and insulin then
dumps the glucose as fat.
This is the MAIN source of fat in the body. It is carbohydrates
turned to glucose and then dumped by insulin as fat. (It ods nopt fro
fat we eat, which is preferentially burned first).
By the way - This same fat is then the source of some extra cortisol
...... AND our unhealthy (LDL) cholesterol - which contrary to USA
TV ads is not "from aunt Sarah" or "from food".
No.
If your pancreas is normal you have started phase ONE (immediate)
insulin release.
If you are diabetic (thus lacking a phase one response) you will not
trigger anything with the rice in your mouth. The pancreas will
eventually do something about it as phase two response an hour or two
later.
Relatively arbitrary allopathic choice of diagnostics...
The amount that glucose goes up overnight is somewhat in proportion
to how severe the pancreas damage is - that is the theory.
So a really bad diabetic will have higher morning glucose than a
milder one. It is purely an arbitrary way to decide who has diabetes
per the also arbitrary definition of it - and like anything
arbitrary it is not a good onel
For example if you are smart, you eat a high protein with some carb
and fat, just before bed time if you are diabetic - and you eat
similarly immediately on wakingl That interrupts the liver's glucose
making game, keeps morning glucose good, and prevents body damage.
But the allopathic testing system neither tells you that nor takes it
into account if you tell them you are doing that.
Correct. If you fail to eat, it will continue to rise. SO they are
really measuring how long you go before breakfast.
They tell you to go to get a fasting test - but soe peple get it on
waling and others get iot 4 hrs later - the result is not comparable.
It also varies according to how long before bed time you last ate.
It goes down if you supply protein.
The liver makes it from protein (amino acids) but will stop if you
eat protein.
Who knows? Depends what you ate, etc.
I described the way I use a glucose meter.
The problem is lack of phase one insulin availability.
So I feel the smart thing is to eat in a way that you do not need
phase one to speak of.
Then you can start to reverse the damage. (As in my earlier email today)
I like to KNOW that my glucose is NEVER over 110.
I only use measurements that will tell me how to know in advance what
exercise or food will keep it that way.
No other measurements make sense to me.
Damage is in proportion to glucose levels.
So lack of damage is my glucometer reading goal.
That also gives the pancreas a break so it can heal.
The official "2 hrs after meals" plan is a time when your 2nd phase
insulin should have worked.
But meantime you are getting regular damage from what is happening in
those two hours before the reading.
So I am not impressed
