Hi,
My husband is going to be travelling in the US by plane next month.
Jumping on and off planes. With the media scare campaign, he is
finally willing to talk to me about remedies. For years I have been
educating him on the basic principles occasionally. Now he explains
homoeopathy to other people so he is not uncooperative. He has
experienced several homeopathic miracles so he is cooperative for a
reason. For a very intelligent person, however, he is not his usual
aggressive learner.
In my understanding, the homeopathic approach to any flu including
bird/pig etc flu is the same. It is to catch the flu early and treat
it early so the immune system builds and does not progress to the
epidemic level. Right?
If I can, I am going to try the train the young people in my family
this summer. We will have a 3 day family reunion and I will try to
take a few hours for training. But that approach should be different
although it is hard to think about because I have never done it. Does
anyone have experience?
So far I have thought of this training strategy:
1) Trio of initial flu symptoms: Bell, Ac, Ferr-phos
2) Influenzium or Oscillococciunum propolactic use.
3) Obvious remedies after 2 days: Gels, Bry, Eupatorium,
Important but not so obvious for the beginner: Ars, pyrogenium, rhus
Tox, kali-bic, baptisia, Merc and Nux-v considering his absorption in
duties and business.
Other remedies considering his constitution type (Lyc), Apis, Arnica,
Chelidonium, China, Sulph, Tub. (Liver weakness, previous exposure to
TB thus pigeon chest and stunted growth and as I said busy, precise,
and extremely critical, sensitive to noise and opposition to his
values. Excellent communication skills but stubborn)
That seems like too many remedies. I should probably send all of the
above (appreciate any amendments) and prepare him with information on
remedies up to step 3 and maybe the most likely of the not so obvious
remedies given his constitution.
I am also thinking I should give him a constitutional treatment really soon.
What do you think of this plan? Again, I would appreciate any advice
for how to structure my approach to him and which remedies to send
with him. Another trick is to pack these preparations in a way that
is very obvious to him. Compulsively busy people don’t like to think
about what is not part of their plan.
Best,
Ellen
