Anyone had a caesarian.....

Post by Rochelle »

........ and breast fed?
Patient after 3.5 weeks is still feeling sore internally - she thinks where it was cut inside. She says it feels different than the contractions you get after having the baby. She did take Bellis 6 for a couple of weeks and I was thinking of giving her 1 x Bellis P 200 but was wondering when is the best time to take so it doesn't interfere with breast feeding as I would rather it didn't go through to the baby (who seems very Nux to me but I have not prescribed anything for him as I haven't been asked !! Mum did have Nux during pregnancy!!!)
Thanks

I think you have to give what is indicated. Are there any emotional sx worth using with the mother. Consider Calendula, Hypericum, Sepia and Staph - of course you know this :-) but if you think the baby is needing Nux vom then Sepia or Staph might not be far off.

Thanks Joy - there are no emotional symptoms- everything including breast feeding is fine. My question was when is the best time to give the Bellis P 200 to Mum so it doesn't get into the milk.

I think that mom's rx doesnt affect baby, only in a positive way if at all. at least that's my personal experience with both of mine.
