PRESERVING A WATER REMEDY - HOW MANY DROPS OF ALCOHOL ?

Post by HomeoDidact »

Hi,
What is the MINIMAL number of drops of pure alcohol that one should add to a bottle of 50 ml (about 1.5 Oz.) of spring water with 2 standard globules (#30) of a remedy in it,
If one wants to store it in the gridge for:
(a) 2 weeks?
(b) 4 weeks ?
Also, does the sugar quantity (number of globules) affect the number of the drops of pure alcohol that one should add ?
TIA
Regards
Rafy

I add about 2 drops to 10ml bottle . Luke de Schepper advises 15 drops to 4oz (about 100ml) bottle when making up a Water Potency which is what you are talking about. A liquid potency is when you add 2 drops of the medicating potency to 10 ml of water and 2 drops of alcohol (as advised by Helios)

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know how much glycerin one would use instead of alcohol,
to accomplish the same effect? Thanks.
Ray.
