Anxiety neurosis and panic disorder

Post by Ellen Madono »

Dear Dr. Raghavan,
Are you thinking along miasmatic lines about these symptoms? You are working in a hot region. Could weather be related? I am looking for a miasmatic remedy for the kind of case that you are describing. Except it is not driving by international economics.

I am looking at a hypertension case who takes medications as soon as her blood pressure begins to rise. The doctor says she is in no danger. So the behavior is hypochondraic. She is tookPhos 6c 2 times and I suspect that the unprovoked bouts of high blood pressure is an aggravation of Phos. She is getting good sleep for the first time in years, so I am not inclined to take her off the Phos. This is the patient who I discussed before concerning Lac-e. I finally decided that Phos was obvious so there was no point in going into a relatively esoteric remedy. But I need to give her something for the high blood pressure bouts just to keep her off the meds so that the phos can work. I am using "vertigo with nausea" as the rubric covering the high blood pressure. In the recent bout, she had an odd symptom of cold running down her upper back.

I just changed Chel 6c as a drainage remedy instead of Card-mar for the liver damage from Hep C. I was looking at the cold down the back during the high blood pressure bout and nausea during vertigo. Felt cold food was the cause of the high blood pressure. Couldn't find a rubric for that.

Repping it, Aurum does not come up for all the small particulars, but it has the vertigo and the high blood pressure. Her veins are so small that it is hard to give her medication there. She has Hep C exposure and her husband was probably a womanizer so the potential for venereal disease exposure is high. I am treating her with shiatsu so that combined with sleeping well gave her a huge burst of energy and the ability to walk easily. Immediately she began walking everywhere. Very sycotic. Loves to travel Tub?? She is 78 years old and teaches Ping Pong everyday as she has for the past 30 years. She was playing at the national level in her 20's and 30's so the drive to compete is strong. But it is all about efficiency, doing your best for the team, students and as a mother for her family. That excess caring for others now produces anxiety. This could be seen as Aurum like. Cocc also comes up.

Best,
Ellen Madono
