Intuition and Repertorizing

Post by jill1313 »

I just want to thank the homeopaths on here who answered on list and
who backchanneled me. It has been very helpful to me. Intuition is
certainly not unheard of and yet, I agree, to ground it in knowledge
is key.

Shannon, I am trying to learn but I must admit that those endless
rubrics are a bit overwhelming:))))). Reminds me of the begats of the
bible. My friend who treats her acutes has apparently sent me a few
books from Amazon.

I can see why many homeopaths must love computer programs that help!

If I had a few extra lives one thing I think it would be enormously
fun to do is to apprentice as a helper (almost in a clerical way) to a
very good homeopath and learn by osmosis.

Yes, it *is* overwhelming if you enter, as a student, by the
practitioner's door! :-)
Much less overwhelming (still a challenge, but a delightful one) is to
learn it in a systematic way, from good teachers. Reading books is
also a terrific way to start. Do browse some of the homeopathic
bookseller sites (the ones that come to mind are www.homeopathic.com
and www.minimum.com--as I recall both have nice descriptions of the
books, and other interesting infromation.). Have fun! (And, er, sorry
if I already wrote that. I'm doing too many multi's with my tasks!)
:-)
