puzzling symptom

condition is pain under the eye, in the eye socket area
pain only on touching
no discoloration
no swelling
no bug bites
no injury
but the pain is there whenever the area is touched as in rubbing
the eyes in morning. the pain has been there for about 2 days.
does anyone have any insight into what this condition is about?
what may be causing it?
