Not sure if this is entirely applicable, since I don't know what the situation is, but my oldest son had something resembling night terrors when he was a toddler. The interesting aspect is that he would also get something similar every day during his afternoon nap: as he was waking up, he would start screaming and arching his back, and could not be comforted or even communicated with for upwards of ten minutes. It was really quite scary. But it was also my first real experience with homeopathy. I ended up giving him Hyland's Colic Remedy, for the sake of the Dioscorea in it, which is what I thought he might need (I had no idea, at that point, how to buy remedies anywhere except at Target!). Anyway, two doses of that, on successive days during the "nap terrors," and he never had one again. Ever.
I notice that Cham. is in this rubric, and that is also in Hyland's Colic, so maybe that's what did it.
Just rambling, but thought I'd share in case it rang bells for anyone.
