Cases or storage system for Boiron tubes
I am trying to find a source for cartridge type cases that will hold Boiron tubes.
What methods other than that can be used for keeing the pesky creatures
under control. Mary Jo

Re: Cases or storage system for Boiron tubes
i have explored the same problem for years.
there are some leather wrap up type units.
they have limited storage.
i have looked into making a plastic prototype
to sell but the cost for set up and small
numbers of units would be prohibitive for me
since i didnt want to go into the marketing of
these boxes.
i have thought about making my own wooden cases.
too much time needed for a nice job and not much
of that.
i have resorted to these multi-draw storage
boxes with many little drawers. the tubes just
barely fit into the drawers and there never seems
to be enough. but they are pretty cheap and you
can keep buying more of them. i also save all
the small heavy cardboard boxes that get sent to me.
and lastly i have resorted to heavy plastic containers
that you can pick up in the dollar stores. some of them
have a good depth so you can stand the tubes up. it would
be better to cut some dividers to help keep better order.
i also get deeper containers for the bottles of liquid
potencies.
dont know if this helps but may get your gray matter going

I have been using shot gun shell cases
Item# ST-12-40 $5.36 ea
it holds 50 remedies per tray
they stack neatly on top of each other
you can store them on a shelf, or stack them in plastic utility boxes for easy transport
here's what it looks like

I use plastic multi-drawer holders that I think are meant for holding
screws and hardware, with anywhere from a couple of remedies to a chunk
of the alphabet in separate slots. It works pretty well; I have a
separate small case for acute kit and anything I'm traveling with.

I found a wood drawer unit on spherical caster wheels (comes in at least
three kinds of wood "finish") called a "hobby drawer unit" which has
multiple smooth sliding drawers each divided into little square areas
with wooden slat dividers, plus a deeper drawer (I use for liquids, my
software documentation etc). It is about 4 foot tall. This was a major
upgrade over my little plastic drawer units from the fishing dept that
held very little each but came in a group of 60.
Each square in my drawers holds several Boiron tubes. I label the
rows A, B, C whatever.... it works really well.
One buys them "ready to assemble" and it took me an evening to put it
together. It's not fancy wood but it looks nice and in major emergency
can be wheeled out of the house to safety. I got it at Fred Meyer
supermarket furniture area (a Kroger store in WA state), very inexpensively.
Good luck finding something similar,
Irene

Irene, that sounds great!
Do you remember about how much it cost? ("Inexpensive" being such a
relative term for furniture!)
