Would appreciate any thoughts for a remedy comparison. There are
Pulsatilla modalities and enjoyment of consolation, "a hug is a good
thing" but no tendency to be weepy - there is a sense of being very
practical, refined, with a closed feeling, yet sweet and soft - it's
like the intersection of Pulatilla, Nat Mur and Silica.
Thanks,
Gail.

Hi Gail
Maybe you can look at Kali sulph, as it is called the chronic
Pulsatilla. It is also > consolation, sweet and soft. The closed
feeling and being refined I am not sure, but not being weepy might be
true for any Kali. And it is practical and less claiming then Puls.

Re: pulsatilla but not weepy?
Chief complaint is that her blood pressure is high and she doesn't
want to stay on medication. She isn't aware of any symptoms
associated with blood pressure, it was discovered when she went to
give blood, but it worries her because her mum died of heart disease,
and because she doesn't like being on medication.
The symptoms picture that I am working with for prescription
includes:
- a skin reaction of intermittent blotching and itchyness at the nape
of neck, upper right chest and navel (predates medication), after a shower, she thinks its about washing the
sweat off, the shower is warm.
- menopausal hot flushes open air, walking around.
Pulsatilla does look good for the physicals, but only for part of the
emotional content.

Thanks Annemieke,
I was thinking maybe a Kali, but sort of put it aside because the the
refinement with a lack of confidence makes me think of Silica - I'll
look at how Kali Sulph came up in the repertorising.

Strange to say but I helped someone that sounds just like this and she
did really well with Sulphuricum Acidum - complementary to Puls. But
she did have the hurried, multiple activity aspect.
