dental treatment interfering with homeopathy

Post by Vera Resnick »

Hi,
I have a patient who has been having extensive dental treatment for the last few weeks. For the last two weeks his sleep has been very interrupted, waking often at 3 a.m., then at 5 a.m. This is part of his chronic picture and has been helped with remedies. I'm not sure whether to give him anything homeopathic now, when the dental treatment (root canals etc.) is constantly antidoting, or whether just to recommend something herbal for the next couple of weeks till the dental treatment is over.
He wakes from a pressing pain in the abdomen. It's not a terrible pain, but is enough to disturb his sleep. Sac Lac is part of his treatment, and that's what he takes to ease the pain in the night. Bathing amel, stool amel, stress and night agg. He's been doing well on Ign lately, and I gave him Nux-V lately for an acute which was also helpful.
Sorry this is so sketchy. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Vera

Vera,

I've had 2 similar situations. In one case, the individual's remedy was simply taken more frequently (as needed) in 6x and it seemed to do wonders through the dental work - which had definately seemed to antidote the remedy in his original higher potency. In the other case, we went to a cell salt and a Bach flower remedy that comforted well during the proceedures - then had to retake case (many life factors changed in that case in a short period).
