Hahnemann's Direction of Cure and Hering's Laws 2

Hering spoke of a law of order, Lippe called it a law of cure, and Kent
called it Hering's laws. Kent popularized the teachings on the direction
of cure under the name of "Hering's Laws". Kent did not know that the
origin of Hering's teachings was in Hahnemann works. The title of my
article is Hahnemann's *Direction of Cure and Hering's Laws* because I am
showing that the Hering's work on the direction of cure were inspired by
Hahnemann's teachings.

As to the idea of giving "credit", here is what I wrote:

"Hering was a great homoeopath who made wonderful contributions to our art
including introduction of the nosode class of remedies, the Analytical
Repertory (mental concomitants), The Guiding Symptoms of the Materia
Medica, and his works on the order of cure has for the most part been very
useful in the clinic. Let us give credit where credit is due."

First of all, what I stated is "his [Hering's] work on the order of
cure" has been very useful in the clinic. Although most of the principles
Hering elucidated are found in Hahnemann's writings, Constantine collected
the information and explained it in an integrated fashion not found in
Samuel's works. Hering should be given credit for collecting the data and
making up the themes associated with the direction of cure and bringing
them to attention of practitioners. Without Hering's efforts much of this
information would have not been understood or lost. Therefore, I think it
is proper to give credit where credit is due. Thank you for your work on
the direction of cure, Doctor Hering!

Sincerely, David
