Just curious whether anyone who reads this list prescribes LMs dry? My (very wonderful) homeopath had me take Thuja LM1 dry a month or so ago—two big pellets of it. Before that two dry doses of Sulph 30c, a long time apart. Nothing else over 9 months Though I believe he was thinking that the remedies I had taken in the past were being encouraged to work themselves out, I don’t know what he is thinking except for one thing he wrote in an email: Dose with longer interval in my experience always brings the symptoms to body from mind and repeated doses push the disease towards mind. Certainly seems to be working in my case.
Have had mild returns of old physical sx over the 9 months and have gotten progressively better re the bipolar depression I was quite obviously in the last three months. Did not have the usual bout of profound insomnia at all!! Have not seen the psychiatrist or taken any conventional meds since I first began treatment with this homeopath last November. Longest period I have gone without psych meds in 8 years. I never heard of prescribing LMs dry and am just curious whether it is a usual thing. Teresa (Northern VA, USA) teresa.kramer@cox.net

It is not the usual thing at all. But that does not mean that there would not be a positive
reponse. The art of posology could include literally tens of millions of ways to deliver a rx.
and it sounds as if the practitioner has gauged your level of sensitivity to the particular rx
and VF very well. We have all heard of crazier things I am sure. Maybe he read the editions
of the Organon in reverse?
I recently had a client who was told by his previous "psuedopath" to take his first dose
of his rx in the same bedroom where he was raped and molested as a child for many yrs.
He was instructed to spend the night there. It was a 10M dry dose of Dros. He came to me
after having a bout of bronchitis for 2 mos! He had never had bronchitis before and was
suffering terrible nightmares of being trapped in a coffin! Also a new sx.
The one positive of piss poor psuedopathy, is that it does keep the rest of us busy. I
was hoping to get the previous practitioners name and have him tape an empty 1dram vial
to his head so that I might do a proving of terribly ill informed, mediocre, stupity.
Peace and prosperity, Rik

mediocre,
Well I was just about to go no email so that I am not tempted to spend
time reading emails when I should be working. Fortunately this one came
through first and once again had me rolling on the floor. May your God
also bless you Rik and may he be thanked for directing you to true
homeopathy; I am sure that your clients are also blessing you.

kerry,
i dont know anything about you. you may be the best practitioner or the
worst.
and you may be as right as right in your interpretation of Hahnemann and
classical
homeopathy. (and maybe not).
but what you are totally wrong in is your hostile attitude. i find your
tone in your
posts very destructive and that is the point. homeopathy self-destructed
on such
arrogance, individualism and internal competition. i dont worry about the
FDA
or CAM or the allopaths. the homeopathic community has enough enemies
within!
i think a kinder approach will get you/us much further than the snide
commentary
that i am reading from you.

Re: prescribing LMs dry
Hi Teresa,
From all I know and have ever read it is very unsual.
However,at the time Hahnemann started to experiment with the LMs he no
longer gave C's dry, neither.
