rubric/mm help? hates showers and washing face

Any ideas for this? The patient hates showers, will not shower, but enjoys at least one hot bath a day. He also will not wash his face, has never done so (he's an older man), but has no problem putting his head back in water. He can only swim breaststroke but can't put his face in the water. He also has touch agg which I think connects with the shower thing, but not with the aversion to face washing!
I can't post details, but there is something of Veratrum emerging in the case - does any of this relate?
