Dr. Marcia Angell wrote the book "The Truth About Drug Companies" in 2004 -- you may be familiar with it. I wasn't, and just heard her speaking as a guest on Radio Open Source (WGBH, Boston) -- it was fabulous! "The industry has bought congress." "We [the public] has the belief that [drugs] are a lot safer than they are." The show can be heard online --
