signatures/Sankaran

Hi List,

I am cross-posting this with the permission of the writer.

I had to wait a few weeks for the permission, she was on holiday. So
the hread is somewhat old - but the seagull has brought it back,
anyhow:-)

I think it shows that the method of finding the "signature remedy" is
not all that trivial as Hahnemannian's example with the
snake-patterned sari.
It was the anser to my question to the German list on how they select
their potencies. The answer happens to fit into the Sankaran/signature
thread that was discussed on the list.

The poster is a classical homeopath who has lately started to (also)
use the Sankaran method - when and why I do no know.

My most frequent potency is the C 200. I choose it according to
Sankaran:

C 30 for the physical level when modalities are known.

C 200 the mind level

C 1000 the illusions, the dreams, the level of images

C 10 000 the level of sensations

Most people tell their story on the emotional leve, what depresses
them, what makes them sad and when they laugh ==> C 200

Some tell in images, tehy have many dreams => C 1000

Very few come up with sensations right away => C 10 000

Short example:

Complaint: strong heartburn

Q: When?: A: On certain days

Q: What is common to those days:

A:
I then feel soft and yielding, without boundary (hands make a wave
movemen back and forth) => level of sensation, sometimes heavy,
sometimes light, those are two different condions, it is not
dissolving/melting

Q: What is the light like?

A:
Detached, unbound, free of expectations, gliding (again the hand
movements), the waves

Q: Waves?

A:
Freedom, source, coming home, being carried and rocked, that is the
image of the child in the womb, but I do not have the boundaries (the
child in the womb is the level of illusion and the images; everything
else is the level of sensation)

Q: What is the heavy like?

A: The brain is like a stone, there I cannot glide off.
Q: Glide off?

A:
I cannot go roaming about, I am glued, it is gluey at the coccyx, I
am anchored.

**** everything is on the level of images and sensation, nothing
concrete, one cannot repertorise it, but it is the language of the
substance; it is an ocean animal that has heterogenesis (alteration of
stages), the medusa.

** the generation of the jelly-fish is freely moving, is rocked, is
soft and yielding, without hard surface but does not dissolve, the
other generation is a polypus.

* according to Metzger [Metzger is a clinical MM somewhat akin to
Julian]
The remedy is made of the freely moving generations of Cnidaria, which
have heterogenesis with the attached colonies of thiese animals, which
are called polypus. The medusae can [..]

When someone tells about his/her complaints on this level, one can
preferably give C 1000 or C 10 000. There will be with these potencies
less aggravations than with C 200.

We discussed this on the list a little further - at last report the
heartburn was much better and some other complaint at the ellbow,
which the patient had not mentioned before, had disappeared.
