OT - Wet macular degeneration

Post by Rochelle »

I am looking for herbal/supplements to prevent wet macular degeneration progressing while the person is waiting for her slot in the queue for NHS treatment of laser. I will not be treating her homoeopathically as this is not what she wants. Links to sites would be great.

From the website you sent me Leilanae it looks as if Lutein and Bilberry are the ones to go for. Now this woman does not have much money so does anyone know if Lutein would actually arrest the condition? I have found her a source of Lutein which I will tell her about.

Dr. Kondrot's has been on one of the lists (?) from time to time and has
been very helpful in the past.

They shouldn't be very expensive. Also possibly helpful is to alter
her food habits to include LOTS more dark fruits and veggies;
blueberries are supposed to be similar to billberry (tho not cheap
either!).

Thanks Kathy - that's the list I seem to be coming up with. Since money is very short with this woman I am really looking for what will definitely stop it progressing rather than "maybe beneficial" which is probably a very tall order.
Thanks to everyone else with their website URLs etc

Hi Rochelle!
In addition to the following, I might be thinking about adding RNA to the mix. I've been reading a book called Heal Your Body Naturally: The Power of RNA by Dr. Amy Yasko and Dr. Garry Gordon. Basically, she talks about the DNA being the Hardwiring and the RNA is like the Software - instructing the body how to repair the body to work as it's supposed to.
I've been using homeopathics, and nutritional support together, and RNA seems to help really nail things together, and get better faster results.
Hope this is helpful.

Ruby - not questioning your suggestion of RNA but just wanted to tell
what I saw in India...

There is a gang doing "Genetic Homeopathy" at Chennai, India. In all
their prescriptions ( the least number of medicines is 30 by the
way)there is RNA or DNA.

Also 3 sarcodes, 3 or 4 anti miasmatics, a bunch of herbals and
minerals and other fun stuff...

For macular degeneration there might be Eye 200, Brain 30 and who
knows - even Degeneration 30....

( and they have another minor list of medicines ( in the same
prescription list) for any acute problems that might come up during
treatment)

One of the patients after paying about 30 times more for this junk
than for a normal prescription, stopped it after some time, went to
another friend of mine and got cured with a single medicine in about 2
visits...this friend of mine showed me this genetic prescription-

Genetic treatment indeed...I guess the patients would look like
monkeys at the end of it -reverse evolution - follows hering's law-

symptoms appear in the reverse order of their coming - and they end up
as monkeys when cured...

from inside out - their cheeks fill out

only difference is - the cure will be below upwards - they go up and
take to living in trees....

;-)

Just wonder what the differences are between Homeopathic RNA and Material
Dose RNA?
Sometimes homeopathic remedies act differently, and sometimes similarly.
Just curious.
