Question about Homeopathic Dentistry

Post by Natasha »

Dear Dr. Sarkissian,

Hello! I am a Homeopathy student in Canada and I have a few questions about homeopathic dentistry. First, do you have a website? Perhaps you have already addressed my questions there.

The question you addressed in the previous email was related to pain, but what about cavities and the actual destruction of teeth (bone, enamel, etc.) ? I know enough about homeopathy to know that it can prevent and stop the disease process but does the body ever "heal" teeth? If and when the right remedy stops a case of rapid decay, can the body then heal up the bone itself?

Sincerely,
Natasha
Homeopathic Student, Canada

Hi Natasha,
I have no web-site, I'm sorry.
I have heard of some people wondering about self-regeneration of teeth, but
there are no reliable reports of this being accomplished. A pre-condition for
homeopathy to work is the existence of a life force, or viable cells, or an
existing immune system. The same implies for teeth. unfortunately, decay in
teeth involves cell death and structural decomposition, therefore there is
nothing to regenerate lost tooth structure.
unless, of course, there is very slight decay which hasn't yet gone deep into
dentine, then if conditions are right (absence of plaque, diet, etc.), then
these beginning lesions are known to reverse themselves.
I believe that teeth themselves have a vital aura around them that may be
depleted by "dead" foods such as processed, sugary, or heavily cooked foods.
If this is true, then a diseased or weakened tooth may be strengthened by not
only good hygiene and a diet full of organic and "live" foods, but also with
homeopathics, positive visualization, meditation, etc.
I hope I answered some of your questions.
Let me know if you need more specifics.
Take care
Dr Sarkissian
