Oh Yes,

I had this thought several years ago, but it wasnt until just recently that i had a specific experience. I was away for a few days mid-december. when i returned it was obvious that my neighbor had not heated my house for me. One of my plants, a croton, was severely collapsed. I thought it was lack of watering which will do this to the plant. But after several hours of water there was no revival, which is typical of the plant. I realized that it had gotten cold, a chill. I diluted Aconite 6c ( i think was the potency) and watered the plant with this. Within an hour the plant was perked up and its usual gorgeous self.

I have heard of a few other people using homeopathy with plants. There was some discussion of this on Eileen Nauman's athena@medinegarden.com e-mail discussion group during this past year.

The use of homeopathy with plants make a lot of sense. We are dealing with energy healing of organisms that have their own energy pattern. Homeopathic principles can be applied to plants in the same way as with people or animals. I just think it requires perception and feeling.

I must say that watching my croton revived I felt a significant sense of happiness from the plant. It's energy field was quite expanded.

about plants. i am taking care of my friend's plants. it has been about a
year now. all plants were thriving. last week i noticed on a very big palm
tree some stuff which local bread and circus very knowledgeable plant woman
said, indeed, was aphids or mealy bugs ,but definitely a disease. she said
to wash plant, wherever i saw the "stuff"
with water an mild soap, in a very big bucket so soap would be very diluted.
she said bugs would have come from a new plant that i brought in. i had
brought in no new plants, so it is a mystery to me. i have not yet washed
plant. any ideas? i would love to treat with homeopathy and don't want my
other and her other plants to get this, however this was "gotten" thanks so
much, sheila

off the top:

Aphids: garlic and hot pepper is an old herbal standby. mix in soapy water and bath or spray.
Mealy bugs: swab with rubbing alcohol on all spots or spray with insecticidal soap which is organic.

as for homeopathy? i would look at or question what has changed that would have weakened the vital force of the plants. were there any shocks to the plant(s). you say you have been minding these plants for a year, so i am assuming that weather changes are not new for them in their location. have you moved any of them lately? maybe they dont like their location now.
you could try to reporatize the plants' sx.

i am no expert on this. but i would also just sit with the plants and try to get a feel for their energy, see what is being communicated by them and try to read the problem. i once took a workshop on 'talking to plants' and even cynical me was impressed with what can be non-verbally communicated by these co-dwellers of the universe. then go from there.

good luck.

Dear Sheila and all,

I don't have any experience using homeopathy on plants (yet) but I have heard about it.

I found this website last year ~ http://www.planthomeopathy.com/ I just checked the site and its not working but this is probably just a tempory thing because of winter vacations, etc. From what I remember, they were selling remedies in large quantities for use in agricultural farming and they were getting positive results.

The other thing I heard about... In the past, one of the "best" chemicals used in the garden was "Paris Green". Paris is green is essentially Arsenic (My Dad says it was Arsenic of lead). So, theoretically, in plants where in the past toxic chemicals were used, a remedy could be used in its place.

I think that the key thing would be to look at modalities (each kind of plant has its preferrences for water, sun, heat, time of day, etc.). And to consider the "disease" condition. Is it wilting, lifeless? What remedies come to mind? Carbo-V.? Is it being eaten up by bugs? Staph? Has the plant grown too quickly and now it's weak? Phos.?

I think that the opportunity for experimentation is endless. Like with animals, plants don't speak to us but they do give off many signs and symptoms for us to consider.

For this plant. I'm not sure. At the very least you can use Bach's Rescue Remedy until you figure out which remedy you could try curatively.

Sincerely,
Natasha

Yes Sajan ,
I have and I am using Homoeopathy to treat plants as same way as treating
humans.I dont know plant biology.Difficult to get Totality also .But I use
on basis of Miasms.

In case of infection of plants by parasites I medicated my cotton plant
with Sulphur 30,and 200.Plant grown well and yielded lot of cotton beyond
my expectation.I consider parasitic infection is Psoric tendency.Same
sulphur in Jackfruit tree is helping it in Flowering. Recently in our area
lot infection of certain type of white insectsof Guava tree are not
yieldingto insectiside spraying ,but my trees are free fron insects after
Sulphur.
I think we can apply medicine more confidently if we have good knowledge of
plant biology and nature of diseases
