In case you don't have Scholten's book see below. The fact that it had not
been potenised when he wrote it may well be out of date!!!

Xenon

Xenon is a new remedy that has not been potentised yet.

The name is derived from the Greek word 'xenos', meaning strange. It was
discovered in 1899. It is the rarest gas in our atmosphere.

It is being used in flashbulbs because its electronic structure is very
loose and it can give an instant flash of very bright light. It is also used
in tube lights, projection lights, electronic flash lights, solariums,
lasers and arc lights.

rest after a life of being an artist.

Rest after being an artist They no longer feel there is anything more to
create. They don't have to develop any new ideas, they don't have to support
any more ideals, they don't mind who thinks what, they are free to do as
they please.

Denial of power They don't feel like getting involved in any power struggle.
They even deny the existence of power. It is something that people have
invented as a pastime, but there is no need to play this game.

Stranger in your own country They may feel like a stranger in their own
country. They don't really feel a very strong connection. Nationalism is a
concept that is alien to their way of thinking.

Denial of sight: blindness They can travel around the world and be
invisible. Or they may be blind themselves, even being born blind.

Mood: cheerful, diffuse, unaffected by negative circumstances.

Coma, narcosis (Penrose, page 369).

They are very slow to react to sounds.

Lightheaded, floating sensations.

DD: Silver series, Gold series, Stage 18.

DD: Iodum: is still preoccupied with ideas and creations, even if only in
his mind. He hasn't let go of the thoughts yet. Xenon is not attached to
ideas or philosophies, he is totally free.

I have not studied Scholten's work in depth.

I gave up when I had borrowed one of his book for a college project on
Halogen remedies and saw that he had written extensively about Fluorine -
where as in fact the closest remedy to Fluorine is Hydrofluoric Acid - I
realised that what he had written there was just theorising, so I gave up
reading more.

Now can any body demonstrate that Scholten's work can withstand scientific
scrutiny and proving results please/

Hi Soroush,
He does say in his Introduction that it *is* theoretical, and needs
clinical refinement. However many people have been finding his work
useful, especially in cases that have not been solved thru more
traditional approach. And in the years since, others are further
developing his work. So--not something to accept uncritically, yet
apparently useful to consider.

I am not sure you will take that as a demonstration.......
I do not use his way of finding a remedy, for many reasons, but when I
decide on one through regular repertorisation and check the Materia Medica
in his books (if and when it is there), I must say he hits the target bulls
eye every time..........meaning that retrospectively when I see the remedy
has acted properly, it was always confirmed in the MM, and often when his
description was much at odds with the patient's symptoms despite leading to
the remedy via repertorisation, it was not the correct one.
So I learned to trust his work although I cannot use his system...........
FWIW..........
