Well, this was directed at the homeopaths who also used allopathic
methods.

In order to understand this, one has to have an idea about what the
allopathic methods were like at that time - and what their system was
based on. Nothing whatsoever to do with to-day's regular medicine -
matter of fact, the system has changed completely several times since
then.

So we really cannot base our attitude to the medicine of to-day on
what Hahnemann said below:-)
