the weather is killing me- the rain hurts so friggn much sometimes- i have been having awful aches, worse than usual in my back- its not just my lower back.. its all of it-
sore/stiff, bruised, achy, tired. the muscles along my spine on boths sides are the worst right now, thats why its my whole back. twisting is not cool right now- it kept me up all night .. i need sound sleep too. does anyone have a recipe for a teas, tinctures or oils for back pain induced by weather? what besides arnica and heypericum can i take for this? - i take the hypericum more for nerve pain than to compliment the arnica (though it does nicely) this time its outta control and my pills aren't cutting it. i've fallen back into a pain cycle.. not where i wanna be. any and all ideas are very welcome.

Re: agony in the rain
Dear Danielle
may I strongly suggest to contact a classic homeopath in your area. It sounds to me that you need a constitutional remedy that takes the totality of your symptoms (yes, including the aggravation from rain / wet weather) and finds a remedy that takes those symptoms into consideration.
Arnica helped you somewhat but if you have to keep taking the remedy it means that the Arnica is only working very superficially, you need a remedy that works in a deeper manner.
I hope you will be able to find a classic homeopath nearby. If you cannot find a homeopath in the Yellow pages, posting in this newsgroup may also help you with your search
Good luck and please take care
Kind regards
Lucy

For several kinds of ailments that are so markedly aggrevated by wet
weather I have found dulcamara to work.

Dear Danielle
Well, I don't know about your case, the best advice would be to go personally to a homeopath to get proper treatment. this online is not the right space for it.
However, it reminds me of similar case I had long ago.
Here's the gist of it.
F, mid-30's. Says for years she gets "rheumatism" pains in all her joints and muscles every time she touches water- whether being caught in the rain, walking thru a puddle, washing clothes or dishes, and so on. Whole body hurt, even though it's only maybe her foot or hand that touched water. Her work was selling food on the roadside- she had a large charcoal fire over which she fried chips and such-like all day. The warmth of that fire makes her feel quite ok.
On further inquiry: she sometimes wakes up with palpitations. I asked her what makes that happen. She said her dreams, which show herself drowning in the sea/lake. Further, it turns out that when she was a child she witnessed her relative drown.
RADAR (v5) led me to Sil., as a "water" remedy
Sil 30, a few doses, cleared up the sx. I never saw the patient again after 2 followups. (I hope the cure was complete)
I wish I could remember the how's and why's I came to this rx, but I did. All the salient points of the case, as far as I can remember, are above.
Sincerely,
Didi Ananda Ruchira
