,Rubric help

Post by Gail »

Can anyone help to translate this peculiar symptom into a rubric?

If she holds on to her urine and doesn't go for a while she gets very
hot and flushed, feels like she is burning up.

I have Synthesis and I've checked under Bladder - urination
and Generalities - heat.

The closest I can find is Generals - Urination amel, and
Urination, before agg.

Sort of begs the question as to why she is retaining urine so often for these sx to develop.
But another rubric could be Bladder, retention of urine, painful. If the heat isn't in any
specific location then use the rubric 'Generals, heat sensation or flushes of heat' but the
reason why this is happening would be good to know. If you look at some of the top rx in
retention of urine there are plenty of 'heated/burning' rx there, such as Apis, Cantharis,
Belladonna, Capsicum, Berberis, Prunus, Pulsatilla, Terebinth, Nat mur (famous for hanging
on to urine as well as most other things) etc. Best, Joy

Gail,

Have a look at:
Kidneys - Suppression of urine. 95 rem's.
also the subrubic: - fever, with: Arn, Ars, Bell, Cact, Canth, colch,
crot-h, Hyos, Op, Plb, Sec, Stram.

Good luck,
Bill G.

Soroush and Bill,
I saw one instance when the retention caused a chill. The retention
was not intentional since it happened during sleep. Imo , in these
cases retention agg can be a possible rubric which is pretty common
and the other sx should come in to support.
