I could not agree more with this stand that homeopathy has to take the
challenge of fighting the infectious and the chronic diseases and creeping
epidemics of diabetes BP Cancer MS and increasing loss of sanity of the
common citizen with what can be called industrialized (read polluting) foods
and consumer goods. Except for some top dentists and even fewer
surgeons homeopathy's proven power of recovery from surgery is hardly being
utilised. Iatrogenic disease is on a massive growth curve.

The tricky problem is to simplify the learning process for these surgeons
and find ways to cover them from malpractice suits in which their medical
associations would refuse to hold their hands if using homeopathic
methods.

One solution would be to make the governments declare all homeopathic
tinctures and some select potencies part of mainstream medical
pharmacopoeia.

Nehru Homeopathic College estimates that 50 percent of their graduates
practice polypharmacy and omly about 10 percent practice strictly classical
homeopathy.

Most of the new lot of homeopaths have never treated an accident victim or a
case of the severity of cancer and they have to be content treating coughs
and colds, stomach, skin and hair problems. Very few of them examine
patients with the rigor of allopathy. All this sensitises the public to
believe that homeopaths are for children and simple medical problems whereas
homeopathy can cure or palliate faster and better in accidents and burns as
also in diabetes, thyroid, MS, cardiac, post operative cancers etc where
operation was essential. Dr Ramakrishnan and others are curing or palliating
cancer howsoever advanced the cancer maybe. The allopaths only takes Gods
name when the cancer is far gone.
