FIND TH REMEDY'S NAME (121)

Post by Ardavan Shahrdar »

Find the name of the following remedy:

It is mostly indicated in neuralgic pains of face and
teeth.

Pains are throbbing or tearing, rhythmical with pulse.
The peculiar feature of neuralgic pains of the face is
appearance of fainting, oppressed breathing and
subdued intermittent pulse after disappearence of
pain. Pains may extend to ear.

Attacks of severe neuralgic toothache usually appear
at nights and prevents sleep. Pains may also
completely disappear at night but the patient still
suffers from sleeplessness.

There is icy cold sensation in mouth, gums, tongue and
teeth. Limbs and skin of whole body is also moist and
cold during pains.

'Vertigo in alternation with toothache'.

Hydrophobia is the important mental symptom of this
remedy.

Sincerely,

Ardavan Shahrdar, MD, DIHom

From Lilienthal:

At the end of fit of coughing there is a quantity of albuminous ropy sputum,
which pours forth with sensation in throat as if uvula were too long.
Dull headache as if the brain would press itself towards the occiput;
tearing, lancinating pain in forehead, often one-sided; redness and heat of
cheeks, congestion in face as from hot flashes; pain in molars as if they
were carious and cold air entered; shooting-tearing pain in teeth, as if they
were pulled; swelling of the gums with pulsation in teeth; nervous faceache.
Pain in course of frontal nerve, gradually increasing; cannot open eyes,
pain aggr. from any bright object, especially over right eye, which is
sensitive to least touch, ending in a general heat, followed by sleep and
entire relief; periodical faceache every 8, 12, 14, 21 days; skin of whole
body moist and cold; great weakness from long-continued suffering.
Pain in molars, as if they were carious and cold air entered; tearing,
drawing, pulling or pulsating pain in teeth; hot flashes in face, faceache,
gums swollen, raging pain during day, disappearing almost entirely at night,
sleep sound and undisturbed; periodical toothaches (Diadema), coming on every
day at noon, extending over whole face and hairy scalp; sensation of coldness
in teeth; intermitting pulse.
At the end of coughing spell a quantity of albuminous, ropy mucus is poured
forth; sensation of icy coldness in the whole buccal cavity
Sensation in throat as if uvula were too long, causing coughing up a ropy
sputum.

Hi, Soroush,

This may be a sneaky way to find a remedy, but for what it's worth, if you
enter "clammy" and "pain" into an EH (probably also RefWorks) search, you
get a whole bunch of references, one or more of which may contain the
situation and remedy you're looking for. Hope that might help. Rosemary

Dear all ,

Some time ago in one of my test papers we were told to apply the Doctrine
of
Signatures to certain remedies and present it . So mine was few remedies
along with Coccinella -Septempunctata. I found little notes about what i
wrote then .

Insect - Coccinella Septempunctata.
Common name : Convergent Ladybug.

Ladybird Beetles are probably the best known and most valued of beetles.
The
name can be traced back to the Middle Ages , when these beetles were
dedicated to the Virgin-hence the name ladybird or ladybug . In some other
countries the ladybug is called these names : in China they call it Flower
Lady , in Iraq they call it Water Delivery-Man's Daughter , in India they
call it Indra's Cowherd and in Switzerland they call it Lord God's Little
Fatty .

Comparatively large (7-8 mm) with a white or pale spot on each side of the
head . These white spots point to the homeopathic application of the remedy
Coccinella Sept. in severe tooth pains.

Adult lady beetles have domed backs , mainly oval , often very shiny . In
homeopathic MM on this remedy , we find that the symptoms aggravate "
looking at any shine and glossy , bright objects ". Ladybugs have two pairs
of wings . Front wings are like a covering sheath of the back tow wings (
visually it resembles parietal , occipital and frontal bones of the human's
skull ) . Interesting to note , but neuralgic pains ; headaches with
periodically repeating pains in the region of forehead and with dull pain
in
occiput - are the symptoms of Coccinella Sept. Remedy . Two bright red or
orange colored wing-covers suggest rushes of blood to the face in the
symptomatic spectrum of the remedy , that is indeed present in the case of
Coccinella Sept.

Lady beetles are known primarily for their destruction of huge numbers of
aphids, but they also eat other soft-scale insects, mealybugs, spider
mites,
and eggs of some insects as well. One Larvae will eat about 400 medium
sized
aphids during its development to he pupal stage ( 7-10days) . Adult will
consume more then 300 medium sized aphids before it lays eggs. More then
5,000 aphids are eaten normally by a single adult ladybug in its lifetime .
This pretty much " constant chewing-eating " lifestyle of this beetle may
refer us to application of this remedy in homeopathy for the symptoms of
severe toothaches . The keynote for Coccinella Sept. remedy is - dull,
pulsating , wrenching neuralgic tooth pain .

Homeopathic tincture is prepared from beetles that are crushed and
macerated
in alcohol.
There are a lot of different folklore meanings that people used to believe
from the ancient times that are related to this cute insect. Thus , to an
English farmer a ladybug signals for a good harvest. In Russia it is
considered as a messenger to The God from the farmers asking for rain. In
French vineyards a ladybug is a sign of a good weather . A lady bug walking
on a hand of Swedish girl means - it is measuring the length of her wedding
gloves , and in Canada ladybug wintering in the garage - means good luck
.........
Good luck to all ,
Irina
