MICROSOFT AUTOMATIC UP-DATES

Greetings

Microsoft are trying to catch out people who are using COPY programmes, but
are causing a problem for every body.

If your system has been set up so that it looks for Microsoft prog updates
and then up dates itself, then please switch this off.

MS are now up-dating the software and as soon as it is loaded, you will NOT
be able some of the things you were able to do before, like even simple
tasks such as saving under a new name etc. (Ours was set up to accept
patches etc and it caused us a major hassle and a lot of time was wasted
before we discovered what was happening.

When you report the error, MS reply that you need a further up-grade and
need the ORIGINAL discs too.

If people have up-dated with this prog, they need to go back and have them
removed.

Please pass this on.

Look under ADD or REMOVE progs under control panel and see if any recent
additions have been made to your system.

Look for additions 908531 and 911562 from Microsoft.
