LYMPHODEMA

Post by Jane Withey »

Has anyone ever treated lymphodema of the left arm that occurred several
years after mastectomy because of removal of lymph nodes?

I would appreciate any information.

I know to take the case etc, I just want general information.

Hi Jane
I believe that many women with this problem get relief from a special form of
massage - lymphatic drainage - which needs to be especially tailored to move
the lymph into the system for proper circulation. The massage is to be done in
a particular direction due to the missing lymph nodes. You need to find an
experienced lymphatic drainage person to assist with this and educate the
patient in how to do this for herself as well.

Regards

Thanks Robyn, I knew that and it is being done but I thought maybe there was
something in homeopathy that might help along with the therapy.

Thanks for answering.

If there is any risk of cancer anywhere in the body, lymphatic drainage
through massage could worsen the case by spreading the cancer cells. There
are a number of homeopathic remedies which target inflammation of lymph
nodes.

With Anantherum I was able to relieve a woman with end stage Ca of the
breast and the edema decreased and she became comfortable. Ahmed N. Currim
