re gunpowder

I have and have used Gunpowder 3x - it is the only grey speckled remedy in the cupboard! I got it from Galen's pharmacy years ago.

because it is a single substance that is a mixture rather than a
compound. And we are talking about BLACK POWDER not modern smokeless
gunpowder.

When B&T was cleaning out in Philadelphia, I found three cans of FFFg
("3 F") black powder in their "raw material" cabinet.They didn't want
it. I took it home and shot the old cap&ball Remington with it for a season.
